1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Trucid ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of PillCount AI (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store.

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety
• You are at least 14 years of age (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Description of Service

PillCount AI is an iOS application that uses on-device artificial intelligence to count pills from camera images. Core capabilities include:

• Camera-based pill counting — point your camera at pills and receive an instant count via CoreML on-device AI inference
• Per-pill visual markers — bounding box overlays showing each detected pill
• Manual adjustment — correct the count when needed
• Count history — local record of past counts (date, count number, optional notes)
• Share/export — save or share annotated result images

All AI processing is performed entirely on your device using Apple's CoreML framework. No pill images are transmitted to external servers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility & Account

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 14 years of age to use PillCount AI. The App is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 14. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using the App, please contact us at admin@truthfinder-ai.net.

3.2 No Account Required

PillCount AI does not require user registration or an account. There are no usernames, passwords, or profile data managed by Trucid. Your count history and preferences are stored locally on your device only.

4. License & Permitted Use

4.1 Grant of License

Subject to these Terms, Trucid grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to:

• Download and install PillCount AI on Apple devices that you own or control
• Use the App for your personal or professional counting purposes in accordance with these Terms

4.2 Restrictions

This license does not permit you to:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any of its components
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App, including the ML model
• Sublicense, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the App
• Use the App as a component in a competing product or service
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices or labels in the App

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use PillCount AI for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

• Medical diagnosis or prescribing — using the App's output to diagnose medical conditions or substitute for professional pharmaceutical judgment (see Section 7)
• Illegal activity — any use involving controlled substances, drug diversion, or activities that violate applicable laws
• Circumventing limits — using technical means to bypass free tier usage limits, including but not limited to manipulating system clocks, multiple installations, or automated access
• Reverse engineering the AI model — extracting, copying, or attempting to replicate the on-device ML model's weights or architecture
• Automated access — using scripts, bots, or automated tools to interact with the App
• Interference — any action that interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the App
• False representation — misrepresenting the App's accuracy or capabilities in commercial, clinical, or regulatory contexts without independent verification

6. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

PillCount AI, including the App's design, code, UI, graphics, ML model, and all related intellectual property, is owned exclusively by Trucid and protected by copyright, trade secret, and other applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

8.2 Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App to us, you grant Trucid a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, incorporate, and build upon that feedback without any obligation to compensate you.

8.3 Third-Party Components

The App may include third-party open-source components subject to their own licenses. The use of such components is governed by their respective licenses and does not limit Trucid's rights in the App as a whole.

7. Medical Disclaimer

9.1 Accuracy Limitations

While PillCount AI uses AI to provide fast pill counts, AI is not infallible. Count accuracy may be affected by factors including:

• Pill overlap, stacking, or partial visibility
• Unusual pill shapes, sizes, or colors outside the training distribution
• Lighting conditions, glare, or image blur
• Non-standard counting environments

You are responsible for verifying counts before use in any professional or clinical context. Always apply your professional judgment.

9.2 Not a Drug Identification Tool

PillCount AI does not identify pills, verify pill type or dosage, or confirm the identity of any medication. It counts objects only. Do not rely on this App for medication identification.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PILLCOUNT AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TRUCID EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any counting result
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

Your use of the App is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not fully apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUCID, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages arising from an incorrect pill count or reliance on the App's output in a clinical or commercial context
• Damages resulting from your inability to access or use the App
• Any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

IN ANY CASE, TRUCID'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.00.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain types of damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trucid and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any reliance on the App's output in professional, clinical, or regulatory contexts without independent verification

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Deletion of the App terminates your license.

11.2 By Us

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Breach any provision of these Terms
• Engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users, Trucid, or third parties
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination of your license, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via an in-app notice or App Store update notes

Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer residing in the EU or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection law, those consumer protections will also apply.

13.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us at admin@truthfinder-ai.net and describe the dispute in reasonable detail. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally within 30 days.

13.3 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of Korea. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

13.4 Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple (as a third-party beneficiary) will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
